Advanced Driver Improvement Classes. Required for driver license suspensions, or by court order.

Basic Driver Improvement. The National Safety Council's Defensive Driving Course (4-hour). May be elected instead of points after a traffic citation.

Also available for volunteers and businesses. A new law went into effect on October 1, 1997, which allows you to receive up to a 10% discount on your auto insurance for attending a Basic Driver Improvement Course. Check with your insurance company to see if you qualify!!

Bike Safety -- Bicycle Helmets and Bicycle Traffic Safety School. High quality Bell bike helmets available to the public for $9.50 -- just come to the Safety Council Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Free helmets also available to qualified groups. We also have bike safety classes.

Car Seat Lending Program. Infant and toddler seats available.

D.A.T.E. Course. Traffic Law and Substance Abuse Education Course. In order to obtain a first-time driver license, Florida law requires the completion or either a Traffic Law and Substance Abuse Education Course or Driver's Education.

D.U.I. Classes. Required after a DUI conviction or refusal of a sobriety test. Also available: Special Supervision Program for those on 5-year, 10-year, and Lifetime Revocations after DUI's.

First-Aid and CPR. Essential life-saving techniques for the home or business.

Maintenance of Traffic

Membership. We offer many benefits to individuals and businesses who choose to become members!! All employees of member businesses also receive discounts on NCFSC classes and National Safety Council products.

Occupational Safety Classes. Classes for the safety needs of today's businesses. No matter what business you are in, safety and risk management must be a priority. We offer individual classes and the Principles of Safety Management (PSM) program (formerly known as the Professional Safety Certification (PSC) program). During 1999 and 2000 we will be adding a more specialized program, Advanced Safety Management (ASM).

The National Safety Council's Step Forward Program. A program for at-risk teens.
